Georgina Marigold is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, a qualified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist, and a Long-Term Conditions Therapist. She completed her training at the University of East Anglia, King’s College London, and the EMDR Association UK and Ireland.
Georgina has a range of clinical experience, including working in private practice, NHS secondary care forensic mental health units, primary care in NHS talking therapies, and several charities as an honorary counsellor.
Georgina has a grounding in psychotherapy and counselling theory and skills. She works with various psychological wellbeing difficulties and experiences, including complex trauma, anxiety and depression, long-term health conditions, medically unexplained conditions, low self-esteem, and sleep difficulties.
In her practice, she aims to create a safe, non-judgemental space for personal growth, self-reflection, and understanding. She hopes to empower clients to develop coping strategies and to focus on how they think about themselves, others, and the world around them. She aims to bring an idiosyncratic approach to each client’s therapeutic experience.
She offers in-person or remote short- and long-term psychotherapy for young people and adults.
