Soirse Burns is a Creative Arts Psychotherapist who holds a Master's in Dramatherapy from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (University of London) and is registered with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council). She is trained and experienced in delivering Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
She is a psychological therapist who uses a person-centred, creative and analytical therapeutic approach to work with clients towards lasting change. Soirse works with adults, and adolescents, and has extensive experience supporting people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds in different settings.
She is passionate about helping clients understand how their minds work, process painful or confusing experiences, and explore questions about who they are and where they belong. Special interests include working with trauma, neurodivergence (ADHD and autism) and identity.
Sessions may include open conversation, EMDR, storytelling, and creative exercises, alongside gentle ways of connecting with your body to better understand your emotions and patterns. She works with you to agree on clear goals for therapy, whether you're looking for a focused piece of work or longer-term support.
