At The Therapy Practice London we offer meditation courses for people who want to learn an easy and effective meditation technique to support their wellbeing.

Practising this type of meditation regularly has a profound effect on the nervous system, clearing stress, fatigue and trauma in an easy, gentle, effortless way. This technique helps people feel calmer, have more clarity and a strong connection to the self.

We offer the 4 day in person Vedic Meditation course and the three days online 1 Giant Mind Meditation technique.

Vedic Meditation

Vedic Meditation is an ancient practice from the North of India rooted in the Vedic Wisdom Tradition. 

​This course is expansive and is only taught face to face over 4 consecutive sessions. The technique is simple and effortless. It doesn't require the mind to be quiet or to maintain focussed. This makes it generally an easy experience which we naturally will want to go back to. Once you've practiced this for a short while you'll notice how your mind and nervous system will start to crave the natural release of stress that it provides. It means we experience ourselves in a new, more expansive way. Our sense of self and our role in the world becomes clearer, without having to think or ruminate about it. Our intuition becomes stronger and we experience ourselves becoming more capable and less restricted by stress, doubt and fear. Ultimately this technique is a homecoming to our deepest Self. 

The first session of the course is an individual session in which you receive your personal mantra
Session 2, 3 and 4 contain teaching about the technique and more deeper explorations of consciousness, the nature of reality and the role of meditation in expanding consciousness to gain a deeper sense of knowing the Self. 

This course is for people who want to take a deep dive into meditation, who are open to exploring their spiritual path, the nature of reality and understanding themselves from a deeper spiritual perspective.

Vedic Meditation course dates 

The course takes place over four days.

Each session is approx 90 minutes. 

The first session is scheduled individually with you.

Session 2,3 and 4 are group sessions. 

​Session 1 takes place at The Therapy Practice London, E20 1ASL 
Session 2, 3, and 4 take place at The Plane Tree, E2 0HU.

1 Giant Mind Learn to Meditate Courses

At The Therapy Practice London we offer meditation courses for people who want to learn an easy and effective meditation technique to support their wellbeing. We offer the online, 3 day '1 Giant Mind Meditation Technique' which teaches you a technique which can be done anywhere and is perfect for people with busy lives who want to learn to take charge in looking after their mental health.

The technique requires no focus or control, is simple, effortless and for people who feel they have too many thoughts to meditate.

It is particularly suitable for people who experience anxiety, stress or are recovering from trauma, or people wanting to become an agent of their wellbeing

The technique promotes the integration of stress and trauma in a gentle and natural way. Practicing this technique regularly therefore greatly supports wellbeing.

The ‘3-day Learn Meditation Course’ consist of 3x90 minutes sessions on consecutive days.

The course is currently taught on Zoom.

Bibi Schonau is a Vedic and 1 Giant Mind meditation teacher, Psychologist and trauma therapist, and witnesses the immense power of this simple technique every day in herself, her clients, colleagues and students.

Paul Glinn is a passionate long term meditator and 1 Giant Mind meditation teacher. He continues to educate himself about meditation and has engaged in numerous activities that have deepened his knowledge and understanding of this technique.

Meditation has had such a profound impact on his life and wellbeing and he is excited to share this with anyone that wants to learn.

Previously an Architect, Paul has left busy London life behind and now enjoys a calmer lifestyle in Somerset.
After learning - Free group meditations
After learning you’ll have free access to regular group meditations where you’ll be able to ask questions, get back on track and connect with fellow meditators. 

Paul's group meditations take place fortnightly on Sunday at 5 pm.
Bibi's group meditations take place fortnightly on Monday at 1 pm.
After learning - In person event 
After learning you'll have access to in person events that accelerate your practice and connect you with fellow meditators.
